Interoutes Joins HELMEPA

 International Routing Services SA is pleased to announce its official membership in HELMEPA, the Hellenic Marine Environment Protection Association, joining a broad community committed to protecting the marine environment and promoting responsible practices across the maritime sector.

For a company whose work is closely connected with the everyday realities of international shipping, becoming a member of HELMEPA carries particular significance. The sea is not simply the environment in which our industry operates. It is a shared resource, an essential part of global trade and a responsibility that extends across companies, crews, professionals and communities. HELMEPA has built such cooperation over decades by bringing together companies, organizations, public and private bodies and volunteers around a common purpose. Today, its network includes 388 companies and organizations and more than one million volunteers, creating an open and participatory platform dedicated to protecting our seas and strengthening environmental awareness.

Weather routing and voyage support are fundamentally connected with the responsible operation of vessels. Every voyage involves decisions around weather, sea conditions, route selection, safety and operational efficiency.
